In 2002, after I released my solo album, "Bohemian Savvy," under the name The Sonic Screwdriver, I got together with two musician friends of mine, Matt Tranker and Matt Hitt. We started a band for the project. We recorded one EP together, and we played a release show at Higher Grounds coffee shop to celebrate its release. It was a very collaborative effort, and we did most of the tracking live together, with only minimal overdubs. It was a really fun project, but the three of us all had our own projects that we wanted to pursue, so it only lasted for the one EP. I thought this music was lost, because all of the copies I had checked were degraded and wouldn't play properly. Thankfully, I finally found a copy that worked, so here it is for the first time online, "Psycho Cosmic Sphere." We hope you enjoy it. We had a lot of fun recording it!
